ABOUT FDPSB
Forest Plantation Development Sdn Bhd (FPDSB) was established as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) by the Government of Malaysia specifically to oversee the implementation of the Forest Plantation Development Programme from 2006 to 2020. This 15-year programme received financial support of RM1.045 billion from the Ministry of Finance to encourage private participation through a soft loan mechanism. This Forest Plantation Development Program has been continued with its second phase starting in 2021, aiming to plant 50,000 hectares of forest plantation by the year 2025.
